We are recruiting for Scatec in Oslo, who are a front runner in the renewable energy industry. Scatec has acquired extensive knowledge and experience in developing, building and operating solar, wind and hydro power plants and storage solutions.

Heavy investment is being made into the IT team, which has high ambitions for further digitisation. We are now seeking a Solutions Architect with the below skills set:

  • Very good competence on MS Azure
  • Azure Active Directory, Microsoft Active Directory
  • Preferably experience with agile project management using Azure DevOps
  • Through understanding of Microsoft 365, in particular Teams, SharePoint Online, and PowerAutomate
  • Knowledge of docker and Kubernetes (Windows and Linux)
  • Extensive experience with networking – firewall, routing, VPN, DNS and load balancers
  • Extensive experience with Azure PowerShell and Microsoft graph

Main Responsibilities for the role:

  • Analyse existing solution architecture and be responsible for continuous optimisation
  • Take responsibility in digitisation projects with special focus on solutions being developed with high level of security and according to industry best practice
  • Ensure secure and efficient integrations are set up between systems
  • Present complex solutions to technical/non-technical stakeholders and steering committees
  • Work strategically and ensure future-proof solutions are implemented
  • Cooperate closely with the IT Operations team and the Digital Program Office
  • Manage digitisation projects and vendors

    Operations Engineer needed for world leading Data Insights SaaS provider!

    We’re recruiting for an Operations Engineer (Windows or Linux) to operate global SaaS environments running on outsourced hardware and cloud. As part of a SaaS Operations team in R+D, you will focus on security, proactive monitoring & tuning, support and analysis of incidents and problem root causes, DevOps, automation and containerisation in the cloud, assisting in bringing new features to market.

    Our client builds solutions that provide some of the world’s largest and most influential companies insight into vast amounts of their unstructured audience data, allowing them to analyse, act, and drive business growth. They are a Norwegian company headquartered in Oslo with almost 500 employees internationally and a large portion of those in R+D, organised in cross-border SCRUM teams.

    Key Skills Required

    • Strong background in Network/Web and Systems Administration
    • Solid understanding of either Windows or Linux (there are components running on both)
    • Experience with DevOps, Kubernetes, Docker and cloud operations a plus, but this can also be taught
    • IT Security knowledge also a plus
    • Broad IT knowledge, ability to understand and troubleshoot
    • Balance of higher education and relevant work experience

    Site Reliability Engineer
